I think the interview went well. It was for a sales coordinator position, which means I wouldn't sell anything but that I would help the sales staff with proposals and ideas for clients. So I think I could totally do this job. They asked me to tell them about myself, my strong points and weaknesses. They asked about my computer skills and I answered honestly, that there is room for improvement. So to makes the sales proposals for the sales staff I would need to use power point, and they asked if I had ever used power point. Nope sure haven't, but I have no doubt I could learn and learn quickly. At the end of the interview they asked me to make a mock proposal, and they gave me 15 minutes. I made the proposal on both word, which I am familiar with, and power point, which I am not familiar with. I think that was really good for me to do that and that it showed I was a quick thinker and that I am not afraid to try something new. As I was walking out, I was complimented on my shoes......
Over all I think it went well.
If the ladies who interviewed me remember nothing else about me, they will remember my shoes. I see that as a plus!

Here is a picture of the area... you can see the spot I'm talking about. It's all pink, and looks kind of bumpy to me. Inflammation come and goes, as well does the itch factor.
So I called my doctor and he suggested that I use the refill on the Prednisone that was left over from January and that if I don't see an improvement, to give him a call back.
Yay! I can't even begin to tell you about the ordeal I went through with the prednisone last time. Mood swings, constant hunger, stomach pains, and chest pains were all present while taking this for a week, and the stomach and chest pains lasted a couple days after I stopped taking it. Now I get to repeat it.
Prednisone is a steroid and can be used for a number of things from asthma to acne. You also can put on a ton of weight while taking it due to the amount of food you eat..... Guess it's a good thing I joined a gym the other day.
Update: I looked at the area today before going to get the prescription filled and the weird spot is gone! So everything is fine... I think.

There are 6 F 18 Hornets total. I love watching these guys and gals fly! They are considered the best of the best. I remember as a little girl growing up in Forestville, MD, near Andrew's Air Force Base, all the fun we would have when it was time for the Air Show. Sometimes we would go to the base, sometimes we would sty home. One time while we were at home the Blue Angels were out flying for the air show, and my brother and I went tearing out of the house. Mom was close behind too. The jet that was flying over our house was so low, that when the pilot turned the jet upside-down to wave at us, you could see everything in the cockpit! It's one of my favorite memories!

My lovely teal clutch and make up came in on Monday, but what I didn't tell you about was my extra stuff. We all love extra stuff... especially extra free stuff.
I remembered that Sephora had a promo code for a free nylon reusable tote. The code was from back around Earth Day, but I put in the code anyway to see if they would accept it. Well they did, and now I have a Sephora bag to use and use again. The bag also rolls up so that it saves space, or makes it easy to put in your purse. Also as part of their Beauty Insider club, I get 1 point for every dollar I spend. When my "Beauty Bank" reaches 100 points I get a free product. Well my beauty was up over 100 and I chose the Sephora brand body butter in Guava Passion.....smells so good! Kind of reminds me of the beach... or someplace tropical.

As the warmer weather approaches I dream of languid days at the beach. I also break out my summer eye shadow: Bare Essentials bareMinerals Glimmer in True Gold. I love this shadow! It’s part of my summer must haves. And can you believe I have had this loose powdered shadow for almost 3 summers? Seriously.. a little goes a very long way!

He saw this picture and of guys in what looks to be some sort of uniform, and the one he took a picture of has an uncanny resemblance to him.
Here's the picture he took...

I love a good laugh and these web comics are the best: explosm.net
Some days my "co-worker" really gets under my skin, so I stop by passiveaggressivenotes.com to feel the relief that I am not the only one who works/deals/encounters a jackass. I don't have a picture for their site, but it is truely funny. You should totally stop by there and take a peak!
Need a pick me up? Stop by Failblog.org for the latest and greatest funny pics and vids.
And finally, last but most definately not least.... Are you having a bad day? Stop by here and comizerate with those who are also having a bad day on FMyLife.com! You may find out that someone is having a worse day than you, and then get to laugh about it.
Ok that's about it! This is all pretty funny stuff here and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Mark recently shared one of his favorite snacks as a kid with me, Seaweed!
I've had it before with Sushi, and I even tried Seaweed Salad once. I like it, and from what I read about it.. it has some great health benefits!
Here is what I found at http://health.learninginfo.org/seaweed-benefits.htm
In the Chinese Book of Poetry, written almost 3000 years ago, there is a poem that describes a woman who cooks sea plants. Always considered a delicacy, Asians also offered sea plants during sacrifices to the ancestors.
Today, we know the plants as seaweed, which has many health benefits:
According to Seibin and Teruko Arasaki, authors of Vegetables from the Sea, “All of the minerals required by human beings, including calcium, sodium, magnesium, potassium, iodine, iron, and zinc are present in sufficient amounts. In addition, there are many trace elements in seaweeds.” Edible plants from the sea also contain important vitamins including vitamin A (in the form of beta-carotene), B1, B2, B6, niacin, vitamin C, pantothenic acid, and folic acid. Analysis has shown trace amounts of vitamin B12, which rarely occurs in land vegetables.
Sea vegetables classified as brown algae, including arame, hijiki, kombu and wakame, have been shown to cleanse the body of toxic pollutants. Specifically, scientific research has demonstrated that these plants, which are abundant in alginic acid, bind with any heavy metals in the intestines, render them indigestible, and cause them to be eliminated from the body.
Seaweed feeds the shafts and the ducts of the scalp to help improve the health of the hair. It has been said that the thick, black, lustrous hair of the Japanese is partly due to their regular diet of brown sea vegetables such as arame. Research has shown that minerals are important to healthy hair growth, and arame has a high mineral content.
Other health benefits, according to Carlson Wade’s book Health Secrets from the Orient, include regulating the hormones, enriching the bloodstream, assisting in metabolism, promoting a youthful skin color, and helping to warm the body to promote mental youthfulness.
Seaweed has always been part of the staple diet of the Asians, who lived near the sea and depended upon it for sustenance. It may well be the “secret” for a long and healthy life for you.
Many health shops and oriental grocery houses sell seaweed in various forms. In dried form, it may be used as part of a raw vegetable salad or crumbled and sprinkled over a salad as a natural tangy seasoning. You may also use seaweed as a snack, together with a fresh, raw vegetable juice.

Friday I did the whole walk around the park thing with Peanut. He had great fun....
After that I watched Mark play softball!
Saturday was just an ordinary...mostly being lazy. Although I did spend quite a bit of time on the phone with my best friend. She was having a horrible day, and now her whole relationship and wedding have a huge question mark above it. Very bad day for her..... I would go into details, but I feel the matter is a very private one for her.
And Sunday was Mother's day. I spent time with Mark and his mom, and then spent time with my mom. It was a very busy and tiring day. So tiring that I left me cell phone at Mark's house. He brought it to me today, which I am totally happy he did, because I felt lost without my phone. Plus I would have no pics for today's post!

So besides No Doubt this past weekend, I also stopped by the Carol County Farm Museum to see my best friend dresses up in Civil War period clothing, baking pies in a Dutch Oven. And let me tell you, that pie was delish!!!
Here she is getting ready to take the blackberry pie out of the Dutch Oven…
This was her sign….
Mmmmmm….blackberry pie! So good!!!!!!!!!!
Makin the crust for a Sweet Potato Pie…
I’m glad I got some yummy pie, and I’m glad I got to see my best friend dressed up as if she were in the 1800’s. Mostly because she said she would never do that….ah how we sometimes eat our words. LOL… Her fiancĂ© does Civil War re-enacting, and I am glad she is embracing his hobby.

Did you figure out what my surprise was???????
No Doubt!!!!
Surprise!
Ever!!
Gwen, Tony, Adrian and Tom were so awesome. I can’t remember the names of the two guys who assisted with drums and extra stuff like, Trumpets. It was such a great surprise. Mark really out did himself! We stayed in the Trump Plaza Hotel, but No Doubt was playing at the Borgata, in Atlantic City, NJ. This was the first concert of their Reunion Tour. And I will admit I am hoarse after singing along with all the songs. They played songs off of Tragic Kingdom, songs off Return of Saturn, songs off Rock Steady, and songs off The Singles 1992-2003. I also got a t-shirt! As an extra special treat Mark printed out an extra set of tickets and had them laminated for me to keep as a keepsake. I might try to mail them one when the tour is done to see if they will sign it.
Like I said before….Best! Surprise! Ever!
