I had a job interview this week. I dressed professionally, and wore these!

I think the interview went well. It was for a sales coordinator position, which means I wouldn't sell anything but that I would help the sales staff with proposals and ideas for clients. So I think I could totally do this job. They asked me to tell them about myself, my strong points and weaknesses. They asked about my computer skills and I answered honestly, that there is room for improvement. So to makes the sales proposals for the sales staff I would need to use power point, and they asked if I had ever used power point. Nope sure haven't, but I have no doubt I could learn and learn quickly. At the end of the interview they asked me to make a mock proposal, and they gave me 15 minutes. I made the proposal on both word, which I am familiar with, and power point, which I am not familiar with. I think that was really good for me to do that and that it showed I was a quick thinker and that I am not afraid to try something new. As I was walking out, I was complimented on my shoes......

Over all I think it went well.

If the ladies who interviewed me remember nothing else about me, they will remember my shoes. I see that as a plus!

OMG! Marie, I luv these soles! Talk about leaving an impression, these are solely the soles to do the job!
I'm very positive you'll get the job too!

Wow, kudos to you for being brave enough to wear shoes like that. I am sure the stuffy books full of interview tips would advise against but I am all for being yourself and looking like you would once you do land the job. Hope you get it.
