Well, I didn't get the job at WBAL. So it's back to looking and applying.

Warmer has got to be on it's way! Why else would catapillar be walking about? Better days are on their way. I just have to stay positive and keep trying. I will get a new job, I can feel it.

I had two things on my calendar today.  Both Music related. 


1st let's take a stroll down 90's Alt Rock with the re-emergence of Hole.  Courtney's new album dropped today, and I totally love the song Pacific Coast Highway.  I'm sure I will love more songs as I listen to the album. 

 Despite Courtney's other qualities, it seems that her music is still pretty good.

Next up we have some super awesome gypsy punk.  Oh yes you read that right, gypsy punk.  It's quite a lot of fun to listen to, trust me.  The name of the band is Gogol Bordello, they released their new album Transcontinental Hustle.  I haven't listened yet, but I'm sure I will in the car. 

So that's all I have for you music wise today that I have purchased.  Give 'em a gander and pick which one you like.  Either way you can't go wrong!

Waiting sucks!  Well, at least it does if you are waiting for one of your favorite HBO shows to get started.  And you know what, it drives me crazy to see the little teasers that HBO keeps putting up.  Oh wait, you don't know what show I am talking about?  I'm referring to True Blood.  I mean, I am only sitting here, trying to patiently wait for Charlaine Harris' latest book, Dead in the Family. Which is book number 10 of the Sookie Stackhouse novels, and the main influence for the HBO Series True Blood. But then on top of that I have to wait for the show too?!

Ouch...it burns. Apparently my eye decided to blow a small blood vessel. Who knew it would sting? At first I thought I had a piece of bright red fuzz in my eye, but when I tried to fish it out with my finger tip I discovered otherwise.

It should be cleared up soon, so no worries.

Today has been crazy. I was called unexpectedly for a job interview at WBAL Radio. I should hear back in a week, fingers crossed!

And now I'm watching Mark play some softball. Which I have pictured with an arrow.

Tomorrow is Pizza and Wii with Lucia and Sean.

I have been super busy this week. Which is odd......and tiring.

I hope e veryone is having a great Sunday. Yesterday I went to a wedding with Mark, and met his family on his dad's side. It was fun, and a nice day day for an outdoor wedding.

So by my gym is an organic market, and I went in there for the first time Wednesday. I was perusing the shelves for some dinner when I spotted soy pudding. It was good, but next time I will get a different flavor.

And yes, dinner was the wild mushroom quesedilla also pictured. Which was delicious!

All this nice weather really gets me motivated to go outside and walk, and what could be than walking?  Walking with your best furry friend with four legs! I get email updates from time to time from BringFido.com.  It's a website that gives you info on hotels and airlines, that are pet friendly.  They sent me an email the other day that let me know that there is now a feature that will let you know where trails are, that you can walk with your dog.  The site is called Traillink.com, and I was able to find quite a few trails in my area that I can go to and walk with Peanut.  One of which is right by Mark's place. 

We walked it once before and took this picture of Peanut.  I call it Construction Peanut.  It really cracks me up, and he is such a good sport when we do stuff like this.

It's so nice out today.  I really just want to play hookey from work and enjoy the day.  But then I wouldn't have a paycheck......*sigh*

Today I am feeling good and really productive.  I have applied for two jobs and I am going to call someone today to follow on an application I sent a couple weeks ago.  I've picked myself up and I'm not feeling as bummed anymore about not getting the job at Radio One.  It still sucks, because I hate where I am at.  But I have to keep going.

I wish this was a joke, but it's not. I just got word from my friend that I did not get the job.

What a bummer. Looks like it's back to the drawing board again. So far operation new year-new job is not working.
