So I read The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown, and this book is good. Not as good as The Da Vinci Code, or Angels and Demons, though. There were parts where I felt like I was waiting for the story to pick up the pace, and other parts where I could barely put the book down.

Dan Brown is an excellent author, but maybe he put too much pressure on himself to write this book. I mean, the last two books were turned into movies. If that doesn't make you put pressure on yourself that I don't know what will.

Overall, if you are a Dan Brown fan, and have read the 1st two books, then go ahead and pick this one up. It won't disappoint you, and it may even surprise you.

Marie, my mom read this book and said the same thing YOU just said!
I might read it now that everything has slowed down a bit!!!:)

Hey Gerri, I guess your mom and I were thinking the same thing while reading this. Maybe Dan Brown should have relaxed a bit more before writing this. It could have been better.
