November 16th, 2009

I wanted to do a video update on my Bell's Palsy, but that didn't turn out too well. So I am not posting that.

I have had some small improvements. Chewing is easier, and that is good when I eat. I made a cheek muscle move, and can still make it move. And last but not least, I made the corner of my mouth move a smidgen when I was trying to smile.

This recovery, I'm sure, is slower than grass growing, but even the smallest things are huge.

Marie that is great news to read; you are correct, every little improvement is huge. I wish you continued success in getting well and will continue to think of you.

Thanks CC. I look forward to the day when I can smile again, eat normally, and wear my contacts again.

OMG! Marie, I am sooo sorry to hear about your Bell's Palsy condition! I have missed reading your posts, unfortunately my hours at work were cut in half, that nixed the hope of getting a new car before Winter and I have been freelancing non stop just to pay my bills!
It's been horrible especially with Christmas around the corner, I'm SCREWED! However, my problem is not all that compared to your health! I feel sooo awful and before you know it your BEAUTIFUL SMILE will reappear and everything will be back to NORMAL!
LOVE YOU,
p.s. I'm back in the blogosphere so I won't miss one post of yours!!!:))

Thanks Gerri. I'm glad you are back and I am so sorry to hear about work cutting your hours. You will get a new car soon, I'm sure of it. And as soon as this economy decides to fish itself out of the crapper we all will be better off. We just gotta hang in there.

I've got a couple of really great posts coming up, I just have to put them together. One of which is a book review that you do not want to miss.

I hope I'm better sooner than later....because I have a trip coming up in January and really want to be able to smile normally. I'll give you a hint, Ho guidato in Italia, bella.

XOXO
