The book is Skylight Confessions
, by Alice Hoffman. You may remember that I read another Alice Hoffman book recently titled, The Ice Queen
.
I really liked this book. It was a great story. You followed the life of Arlyn, the daughter of a Ferry Boat Captain. Unlike the last book I read by Alice Hoffman, this one was not like the jumbled thoughts inside someone's head. It was a well thought out story, with a few unexpected twists.

Ha ha, Gerri I have no idea how many books I read a month... I think it's a quite a few actually. And thanks, I'm glad I motivate you to read more. Reading a book can be a great escape.
