I had recently asked my aunt to make a new bed cover for Peanut. She has had two strokes recently and I was unsure about her willingness to sew, or if in fact she could still sew.  But she said she would, and I set off to the fabric store that was going out of business to look for some fabric.  I was unsuccessful, but mom went and brought home this blue fleece.  I guess it would do, though I really wanted something with paw prints.  So we sent the fabric on down to my aunt, and this past weekend she brought up the new cover.

Peanut was excited and as you can see from the picture above, he really likes his new cover.

WOW! Doesn't Peanuts look darling, I really like this Blue! I'm sooo sorry to hear about your Aunt, but Just think it probably wasn't easy to sew this cover but she did and that's a BLESSING that she can still use her fine motor skills!
Oh I bought 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies' today can't wait to read it!
Have you finished?

Hey Gerri. I'm so thankful my aunt was able to sew the cover for me. I really couldn't tell too much that she had two strokes. Her left hand was a little shaky and there was a little speech impediment. Like when she said bed it sounded like bag. And I am sure it was a tough job for her to sew, and I told her to take her time. What made me angry one night was that my mom put words in my mouth by telling her I was asking about the cover and making me sound like an ungrateful person. It made me so angry, but my mom saw nothing wrong with that.

Yes I did finish Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and I loved every second of it. Such a good book.

You must be so happy that you now having something made from the hands of your Aunt.

The color blue next to Peanut's coat color is so beautiful. I know he has a big smile on his face.

@ Shari: Pinto Peanut, lol. That's so funny. You always come up with the funniest nicknames.

@CC: I have other items made by my aunt. Like the doll she made me from when I was a baby. And yes I agree, the blue really makes Peanut's silver coat shine brighter.
