If you have a dog you should be very careful of the salt that is put down on sidewalks and roads. It can hurt your furry friend's paws. One year Peanut got a piece stuck up under his collar and he was burned by it. It left a sore that later healed, but still scary right?
So if you get the chance, and you live in a climate that gets icy this time of year, pick up some paw safe de-icer. It works, and your dog's paws will thank you.
